Dragging audio files on Songster for processing
Songster reads the metadata from audio files directly. (A previous version, called XMiL Songster, used AppleScript and iTunes for that purpose.) Audio files are not changed in any way.
Audio files are dragged to Songster from the Finder level. You can drag files, groups of files or folders containing audio files.
There are four spots you can drag audio files to:
- Drop Zone in Main Window
- Drop Target
- Application Icon
- Menu Bar Item
Place the small drop target window anywhere on your screen. It will float above all other windows and become semi-transparent when not in use.
To show and hide the drop target window click the target button at the bottom of the main window.
You can drag audio files to Songster's Application where-ever you see it. This also works in the Dock.
